THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE LENS

Founders

Waypoint Narrative was built on two distinct perspectives: a deep understanding of tourism, hospitality, and the guest experience, combined with decades of experience in business, communication, and visual storytelling. Together, those perspectives shape how we capture destinations, experiences, and brands in ways that connect with the people they want to reach.

Benjamin, Co-Founder of Waypoint Narrative

CO-FOUNDER

BENJAMIN

With more than two decades of experience in corporate sales and sales leadership, Benjamin brings far more than creative ability to Waypoint Narrative. He understands business, communication, decision making, and what ultimately moves people from interest to action. That commercial mindset shapes the way he approaches every production: not simply as a filmmaker creating beautiful imagery, but as a strategic partner focused on producing work that serves a clear purpose for the brand behind it.

Driven by an insatiable curiosity for technology, filmmaking, and storytelling, Benjamin has developed a multidisciplinary skill set spanning cinematography, aerial production, editing, sound engineering, color, and post production. As an F.A.A. Part 107 certified drone pilot and hands-on creative, he is equally comfortable developing the vision for a project, capturing it in the field, and shaping every detail through the final edit.

What distinguishes Benjamin is his ability to bridge the worlds of business strategy and creative execution. He understands how brands need to communicate, how audiences experience a story, and how strong visual storytelling can influence perception, build desire, and move travelers closer to taking action. His approach is built around a simple standard: every frame should earn its place. The goal is not merely to create something beautiful to watch, but to create polished, intentional, commercially valuable work that makes the destination, property, experience, or brand impossible to overlook.

OUR SHARED BELIEF

Built on a shared conviction that place has the power to transform.

As a married couple, we founded Waypoint Narrative to close the distance between remarkable destinations and the people who have yet to experience them, creating films that turn curiosity into connection and places into experiences people want to discover.

Before founding Waypoint Narrative, Kenzo and Ben built "Explore with Kenzo and Ben", a travel media brand creating content across the global travel and tourism industry. Their work spans destinations, airlines, cruise lines, hotels, resorts, attractions, dining, transportation, tours, experiences, and the brands that help shape how people travel.

Through years of creating for real audiences and collaborating with travel and hospitality brands, they developed a firsthand understanding of what captures attention, builds interest, and inspires people to experience a destination for themselves. That perspective continues to shape the way Waypoint Narrative approaches travel storytelling today.
